What was the concept behind Creative Cocktails when you first started? Are you happy with how it has grown?
When the pandemic hit, we moved on from our bartending positions together, as did a lot of others in the industry. Bartending was never ‘just a job’ for us, it was a passion and an outlet for our creativity that allowed us to create memories and share experiences with so many amazing people.
CCTO was created as an outlet to continue pursuing our love and passion for creative cocktails and being able to share it with everyone around us. A cool concept with great flavours and perfect alternative to going out since everything was still shut down.
Starting off on Instagram and sharing recipes became our business, a dream come true and we are thrilled with our achievements thus far.
A lot of your recipes don’t include spirits, how come?
We get this question a lot, and when we explain it the feedback is amazing!
Being in the industry for as long as we have, we know that no two palates are alike. A spirit that we may love might be someone else’s kryptonite, which is why we decided not to include any. This is both a way for us to keep the prices of our kits lower for our clients, and also a way for our clients to use what they know and love or even what they may already have at home!
That being said, we do offer LCBO gift cards as an add-on which has become a popular option when gifting the kits.
What’s your take on cannabis infused drinks? Do you see Creative Cocktails expanding its portfolio in the future?
Why not! We are always open to trying and experimenting with new ideas with new kits on the way for all of the years special occasions.
