Sesh with Stef – The Series
A New Years Adventure with Edibles
Picture this: It’s December 30th, the temperature outside is – 5 degrees celsius and you’re in a cozy cottage up in Bonfield, Ontario. You just left Toronto, the covid-filled city and you’re living with five young adults with nothing to do.
Luckily for this group, Stef came stocked with Wana gummies, cannabis infused chocolate bars, and THC Hot Chocolate to make things more interesting.
To start, you should normally go slow, so for the first evening, our group split a pack of Wana Gummies between each couple. We started with the Mango Sativa gummies that come packed with 2x edibles, each with 5mg of THC. For us, this amount was a nice mix of happy and relaxed, exactly what we needed. So long are the days of splitting the same joint between six people. With covid changing life, it’s been ideal to have your own edibles, pre rolls or whatever else you’re using to keep yourself as safe as possible.
A little while after ingestion we decided to play a board game. There were laughs and playful arguments but all in all there were good times. The Wana gummies specifically have a great selection for new cannabis users or the seasoned one. This is in part to the different CBD, THC mixes you can choose from like 10:1. 5:1, 2:1 or 1:1. A truly versatile product with options for everyone.
Wana gummies are also vegan and gluten free for all of you with allergy concerns or specific preferences!
Some of us also enjoyed the cannabis infused drinks. We had a few to choose from like Impromptu’s Kombucha which is very flavourful and doesn’t taste like cannabis at all. The Sweet Justice actually tasted like coca-cola and seeing Collective Arts transition into the cannabis space is such a treat because everything they do is always top notch.
The next few days we continued with our assortment of Wana gummies, THC/CBD drinks, and the most notable… THC Hash Hot Chocolate from Malahat Mountain.
The perfect afternoon warm drink. Again, we split one pack between each couple which allowed us to have 5mg each. We made a charcuterie board to accompany our hot chocolate (a weird but necessary pairing), and not a cracker or piece of cheese was left untouched.
Two hours later, everyone found themselves snoozing in whatever position they finished their charcuterie in. The floor, the couch, only a lucky few made it to a bed. We awoke around 830pm and had ourselves a late dinner.
The new year started off just the way we wanted it to, full of laughs, lots of sleep and good company.
Until next time.
